Welcome to Greece Shotokan Karate

Greece Shotokan Karate (GSK) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to teaching karate as a martial art.

Greece Shotokan Karate has been teaching traditional karate-do in Greece since 1984, it was founded officially, however, in 2006. Tsutomu Ohshima, who is the leader of Shotokan Karate of America and many other national Shotokan organizations worldwide, is recognized as the chief instructor of Greece Shotokan Karate.

Each year GSK organises a National Special Training in Kolindros, close to Thessaloniki, including Dan Test and one Technical Course.

Greece Shotokan is grieving for it's black belt and honorary member Garabet Bisdikian, who passed away on 22nd of November 2011. Members of Greece Shotokan served him as his pallbearers while leading him to his resting place. We will always rember him as an extraordinary example of strong mentality.
